The Goddard School is looking for energetic, attentive, and experienced Early Childhood Education Teachers to join their premier preschool in Gilbertsville, PA.

• These are Direct Hire positions with the school
• Full-time; Monday – Friday; year-round employment

Open Positions

• Lead or Assistant Two's Teacher- working with children 2- to 3-years-old and the shift for this position can be either 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
• Lead or Assistant Preschool Teacher- working with children 3- to 4-years-old and the shift for this position can be either 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
• Floater; working with children 6-weeks to 5-years-old (the pay for this position is $15.00-$16.00/hour)

Salary

Assistant Teacher $16.00-17.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Lead Teacher $18.00-$19.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications

• Must be least 18 years old
• REQUIRED Education: High School diploma or GED
• REQUIRED Experience: Working with children 5-years-old and younger – babysitting and nannying experience OK!
• PREFERRED Education: Completed or progression toward a CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or an education-related field
• PREFERRED Experience: At least 1-year of experience working with children in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must meet background check eligibility
