Brynmor Early Education & Preschool is seeking an energetic and organized full-time Pre-K/School Age Team Lead to join their premier preschool in Culpeper, VA.. This school has mixed-age classrooms and this position works with the Educators of students 4- to 12-years-old.

Salary

$21.00-$24.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities

• Lead educator teams in curriculum and lesson planning by conducting classroom observations to ensure the implementation and delivery of the HighScope curriculum
• Delight parents and proactively resolve their concerns in a professional and polite manner
• Provide creative, age-appropriate programs to all children served at the school
• Create a culture of engagement by empowering teachers to find solutions
• Identify and organize professional development opportunities and provide regular coaching and feedback to all team members
• Work in concert with the Executive Director to recruit, hire, overseeperformance, professional growth & development, and retention of all team members

Qualifications

• REQUIRED Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Elementary Education
• REQUIRED Leadership Experience: At least 3-years of experience in a leadership role at a licensed early childhood education facility
• REQUIRED Teaching Experience: At least 2-years of teaching experience in a licensed early childhood education facility
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
• Must meet background check eligibility
