The Goddard School is looking caring, nurturing, and energetic Assistant Early Childhood Education Teachers to join their premier preschool in Jenks, OK.

• These are Direct Hire positions with the school
• Full-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Open Positions

• Older Toddler- working with children 2.5- to 3-years-old and the schedule can be either 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
• Preschool-working with children 3- to 4-years-old and the schedule can be either 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm

Salary

$12.00-$14.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18-years-old
• REQUIRED Education: HS Diploma or GED
• REQUIRED Experience: Must have experience working with children 5-years-old and younger; babysitting and nannying experience OK!
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must meet background check eligibility
