Preschool Head of School – Early Childhood Education
Location: Argyle, TX 76226
Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 base salary + generous monthly enrollment bonus
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Are you a confident, relationship-driven leader passionate about early childhood education? We are seeking an experienced Head of School to lead a well-established early learning center in Argyle serving Infants through Pre-K students.

The school has been operating since 2004 and is accredited as a TRS Four Star program. The center currently serves 130+ children with licensed capacity for continued growth and expansion.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $60,000 – $70,000+
- Monthly enrollment bonus: Earn $300 for every net enrollment gained in a single month

About the Role
As the Head of School, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, lead and support staff, maintain licensing and TRS standards, drive enrollment growth, and create a positive, welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers.
This role offers a high level of autonomy and decision-making authority within established organizational standards. We are looking for someone who is visible, proactive, organized, and confident in leading both people and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily school operations and ensure a safe, positive learning environment
- Supervise, coach, and support teaching and administrative staff
- Build strong relationships with families and maintain high parent satisfaction
- Maintain compliance with Texas licensing minimum standards and TRS requirements
- Support enrollment growth and community outreach initiatives
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational workflows
- Operate effectively within an established budget
- Partner with ownership and leadership on school goals and performance
- Maintain strong school culture and staff engagement
- Utilize childcare management software and administrative systems effectively
Qualifications Required
- Texas Director Credential (required)
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting
- Knowledge of Texas licensing regulations
- Experience supervising teams of 15+ staff members
- Experience managing schools/programs with 100+ enrolled children
- Enrollment growth and marketing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead independently and take ownership of school operations
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or related field
- Experience with TRS standards and accreditation
- Experience with: Google Workspace, Brightwheel, Procare, etc.
