Our client is looking for fun, nurturing, and energetic Lead Teachers to join their premier preschool in St. Louis Park, MN. This is a wonderful opportunity for educators who love working with children and want to be part of a supportive school community that values early childhood education.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Full-Time; Monday – Friday; year-round employment
Open Positions
- Lead Toddler Teacher: working with children 16 months to 2 years old and the shift can be 7:30am to 4:30pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Lead Preschool Teacher: working with children 3 to 4 years old and the shift can be 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday
Salary
- Lead Teachers: $21.00 – $23.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Plan, create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Maintain educational portfolios for each child
Qualifications
- REQUIRED Education: 16 semester or 24 quarter credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, a completed Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification, or a completed degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- REQUIRED Experience: 1 year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must meet background check eligibility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
