Our client is looking for caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Education Teachers to join their premier preschool in Jenks, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-weeks to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.

  • This is a Direct Hire position with the school
  • Full-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

  • Lead OR Assistant Toddler Teacher; working with children who are 1 year old
  • Lead OR Assistant Toddler Teacher; working with children who are 2 years old
  • Lead Preschool Teacher; working with children 3 years old to 4 years old
  • Assistant Preschool Teacher; working with children 3 years old to 4 years old
  • Floater Teacher; working with children who are multi-aged

Salary

  • Lead Teachers: $14.00-$16.50/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
  • Assistant Teachers: $12.50-$14.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
  • Floater Teachers: $12.50-$14.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
  • Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom
  • Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
  • Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18-years-old
  • REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • REQUIRED Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with children 5-years-old and younger in some capacity
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
  • Must meet background check eligibility
