Our client is looking for a caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Substitute Teacher to join their premier preschool in Socorro, NM. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-months to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- On-Call Position; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Salary
- $14.30- $17.17 p/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Providing support with implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
- REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma
- REQUIRED Experience: 6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed!)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
- Must be at least 18-years-old
