Our client is looking for energetic, attentive, and experienced Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Gilbertsville, PA.
- These are Direct Hire positions with the school
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available; Monday – Friday; year-round employment
Open Positions
- Co-Lead Infant Teacher: working with children 6 months to 1 years old and the schedule would be 8:15am – 5:15pm, Monday through Friday
- Co-Lead Toddler Teacher: working with children 18 months to 2 years old and the schedule would be 8:15am – 5:15pm, Monday through Friday
- Co-Lead Two’s Teacher: working with children 2.5 to 3 years old and the schedule would be 8:15am – 5:15pm, Monday through Friday
- Co-Lead Preschool Teacher: working with children 3 to 4 years old and the schedule would be 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Full-Time and Part-Time Floater Teachers: working with children 6-weeks- to 5-years-old. Part-time shift requires a start-time of 2:00pm or later. Full-time shift can be 8:00am – 5:00pm, 8:30am – 5:30pm, or 9:00am – 6:00pm. Both shifts are Monday through Friday.
Salary
- Floaters: $15.00-17.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Assistant Teacher: $16.00-17.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Co-Lead Teacher: $18.00-$19.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
- Must be least 18 years old
- REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma or GED
- REQUIRED Experience: Working with children 5-years-old and younger – babysitting and nannying experience OK!
- PREFERRED Education: Completed or progression toward a CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or an education-related field
- PREFERRED Experience: At least 1-year of experience working with children in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
