The Gardner School is offering a Sign-On Bonus to all new hires at this location! They are looking for caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Education Teachers to join their premier preschool opening soon in Plymouth, MN. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-weeks to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training when needed.

- Full-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment
Sign-On Bonus
- Assistant/Support Teachers: $500 Sign-On Bonus! — $250 after 30 days and $250 after 90 days of employment (eligibility and participation rules apply).
- Lead Teachers: Includes a $1,000 sign?on bonus — $250 after 30 days and $750 after 90 days of employment (eligibility and participation rules apply).
Salary
- Lead Teachers: $18.70 – $23.10/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Assistant Teachers: $16.55 – $20.45/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Support Teachers: $14.88-$18.35/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18-years-old
- REQUIRED LEAD TEACHER EDUCATION: CDA, Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree in ECE or a related field with at least 6 completed ECE hours
- REQUIRED ASSISTANT TEACHER EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
- REQUIRED Experience: At least one year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
