Available Roles

  • Floater Teacher: Working with children 6 weeks – 5 years

Schedule

  • Start time would be between 8:00am – 10:00am
  • Floaters must be able to work until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday!

Compensation

  • $17 – $19 per hour for Floaters; Compensation depends on education, credentials, and experience in early childhood education.

What You’ll Be Doing

Floater Teachers play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a child-centered curriculum that encourages creativity and exploration
  • Maintaining active supervision of children at all times
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Assisting with diapering and toileting as needed
  • Collaborating with other teachers to support classroom activities
  • Helping ensure a safe and positive school environment

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications for Floater Teacher position:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Any experience working with children 5-years and younger in any capacity (babysitting and nannying WELCOMED!)

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when assisting children
  • Must safely lift infants into and out of cribs
  • Must pass required background checks
