Our client is looking for experienced, nurturing, and energetic Lead Teachers to join their premier preschool in Scarsdale, NY.
- These are Direct Hire positions with the school
- Full-Time; Monday – Friday: year-round employment
Open Positions
- Lead Infant Teacher: working with children 6 weeks to 12 months old
- Lead Toddler Teacher: working with children 12 months to 36 months old
- Lead Pre-K Teacher: working with children 4 to 5 years old
- Schedule: the shift can be 8:30am to 5:30pm, 9:00am to 6:00pm, or 9:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday but can be flexible if needed!
Salary
- $20.00 – $23.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Lead Teachers Requirements – must meet one of the following:
- Option 1: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field. If working with Infants/Toddlers, one year of experience working specifically with Infants/Toddlers required
- Option 2: Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and at least 1-year of experience related to caring for children. If working with Infants/Toddlers, at least two years of experience caring for children required, one of which must be specifically with Infants/Toddlers.
- Option 3: At least two years of experience related to caring for children AND at least 9 completed college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, with a plan of study leading to a: Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or a completed degree in a related field
Additional Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
