Our client is looking for a fun, nurturing, and energetic Part-Time Floater Teacher to join their premier preschool in Scarsdale, NY. This is a wonderful opportunity for educators who love working with children and want to be part of a supportive school community that values early childhood education!

• These are Direct Hire positions with the school
• Part-Time; Monday – Friday: year-round employment

Open Positions

• Floater Teacher: must be willing to work all age groups between 6 weeks to 5 years old and the shift would be 3:00pm to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday

Salary

• $18.00 – $20.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Required Experience: working with children 5-years and younger in any capacity
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must meet background check eligibility
