Our client is looking for fun, nurturing, and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Bossier City, LA. This is a wonderful opportunity for educators who love working with children and want to be part of a supportive school community that values early childhood education!

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-Time and Part-Time; Monday – Friday; year-round employment

Open Positions

• Full-Time Lead Preschool Teacher: working with children 3 to 4 years old
• Part-Time Floater Teacher: working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old

Salary

• Lead Teachers: $15.00 – $18.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
• Floater Teachers: $12.00 – $15.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Plan, create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Maintain educational portfolios for each child

Qualifications – Lead Teachers

• REQUIRED Education: Completed Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or a completed degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field 
• REQUIRED Experience: 3 years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility

Qualifications – Floater Teachers

• REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma
• REQUIRED Experience: 6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed!)

Qualifications – All Positions

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must meet background check eligibility
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
